Tadaaa… My very own Sasha Wardells

A couple of weeks ago, I showed you the pieces I made during a masterclass with Sasha Wardell, before firing.

Today it’s time to unveil the ‘baked’ result: a white transparent cup with relief adding dept; a blue vase with cut-outs illuminated from within and a faceted vase showing 5 different layers of blue or white porcelain.

I’m pretty proud about them! Let’s just hope it survives
a) our little crawling son who just loves to touch, taste and drop everything
b) our cleaning lady’s swift cleaning spree’s.

Nothing like a good cup of coffee

There’s nothing like a great cup of coffee in the morning.  As a young mom, I know the value of a good espresso to kick a morning temper right to the curb.  And it just tastes a little bit better in a hand-made ceramic cup.

High tea time… and there are the cups!

Finally. I have been working for about a year now on designing and creating a decent, user-friendly but still pretty tea (or coffee) set: cups, milk pitcher and a sugar bowl. Even tough I like the random collection of cups I have in my kitchen -each piece has its history-, I thought it was time for a well-matched set.
